A jam-packed March continued with a trip to Inspire Luton over the weekend of 8th-9th March, with 26 BSSC swimmers competing at Putteridge Swimming Club’s Long Course National Qualifier. Over the two days, the swimmers took part in 75 swims, with a massive 42 Long Course personal best times secured. Ten swimmers won a grand total of fourteen medals – 5 gold, 3 silver and 6 bronze.
Special mention must go to Molly and Ella Greatbatch, who secured top-three places in all of their events.
There are plenty more meets and galas to look forward to over the coming month; we return to Luton for Team Luton’s March Long Course Meet on 16th and 17th March, followed by our very own Regional Qualifier in partnership with Harlow Penguins on Saturday 23rd March, and a trip to Norwich for City of Norwich Swimming Club Easter Long Course Meet over the Easter weekend.
