Welcome to the #BSSCStayAtHome virtual training and resources hub. We can’t be together in the pool right now, but that does not mean our swimmers cannot stay physically and mentally well and connected with each other. For this to work we need all members of our club to come together, make suggestions and support each other.
In this hub you will find information on:
- Land based training activities
- #BSSCStayAtHome Challenges
- #BSSCStayAtHome Live Sessions
- Online Resources
- Volunteer Training
If you have any questions please feel free to drop the Club an email.
As we provide new home training opportunities and challenges for our members, and share information about other resources available, we advise all our members (including parents of under 18s) to familiarise themselves with the following guidance.
Updates – 24 August 2020
We had really hoped that we wouldn’t need to get Coach Barry to supply some more exercises, and to be sending round emails for this week, but here we are again … it was very disappointing to have everything in place for our return after a mammoth effort by many of our members and committee, only to hear that the pool still isn’t ready. We are going to plough on regardless with the readiness planning, so emails with all the paperwork we need in place for our return will be heading your way shortly.
For now, though … check out Barry’s daily workout programmes.
Land training sessions for Elites, Minimes, Seniors, Cadets, Benjamins, Poussins and Avenirs continue, though – please check the updated schedule.
Finally, as we said last week, please dig out those out-grown items and pass them on to us for our Pre-loved kit amnesty sale that will happen as we return to the pool.
Stay safe, keep exercising, stay connected and stay hopeful that we will be back soon!
We will be updating this information regularly, but please also look out for other information being shared on our BSSC Members Only Facebook page.
