Saturday 8th June saw BSSC’s youngest swimmers travel to Hitchin for the second round of Peanuts League 2024. The Peanuts League consists of three separate galas held between May and June. Swimmers aged 9 to 12 compete in a mix of individual age group races (9yr, U11yr, U12yr, U13yr) and relays. BSSC is currently in Peanuts League’s Division One, alongside eleven other Hertfordshire swimming clubs. In round two, we took on Stevenage, Hatfield, Harpenden, CoStA and Verulam.
As ever, we are super-proud of our BSSC swimmers. The team put in superb effort; for some, it was their first competitive event. The older swimmers were fantastic role models, cheering on and supporting the younger ones. The squad will be returning to Harpenden for the third and final Round this Saturday 29th June at Harpenden. Good luck everyone!
