Eleven elite BSSC swimmers flew to Edinburgh (15-17 March) to compete at the Edinburgh International Long Course Swim Meet and swim alongside Team GB athletes and other European superstars.
Junior competitors were Nick Botha, Sarah Carroll, Alex Catton, Dan Chada, Bryn Couser, Mehdi El Mansar, Millie Fields, Callum Harold and Jess Penkul, whilst Seniors were Niamh James and Elinah Phillip.
All swimmers performed brilliantly, with most stepping up to smash PBs, but 3 juniors had outstanding performances with Dan reaching the finals of the 100m Back & 50m Free, Bryn in the 50m & 200m finals and Millie coming 3rd in the 200m Free final. Dan and Bryn also achieved British Championship Qualifying times, though Millie missed out by 0.3 seconds!
Although the swimming was great, the highlight of the weekend for many has to be meeting Adam Peaty!
