Babble

As the 2023/24 season draws to a close, we’ve got plenty to write about! Since we last shared a newsletter, all of BSSC’s squads have been busy training hard, competing and breaking records. Our youngest swimmers gave their all to retain the Club’s position in Division One of Peanuts League. May saw 25 BSSC swimmers qualify for Regionals, with four top-three places secured. The season finished with nine BSSC swimmers taking on the fastest in the UK at the summer Nationals competitions in Sheffield! Meanwhile, our world-ranking Masters have been setting records and winning multiple medals on the international stage. We hope you enjoy reading our latest edition of Babble.

Wow, 2024 is just flying by! There has been lots to celebrate so far this season, so we’ve had plenty to write about in this new edition of Babble. The new coaching team is now in place, several Club records have been smashed (and it’s only April!), 64 top-three finishes were secured at Counties and
six Benjamins and Poussins swimmers have been awarded Swimmer of the
Month in 2024. We hope you enjoy reading this edition as much as we’ve enjoyed bringing together all the articles.
