Christmas training dates

Training will finish for the Christmas holidays on Sunday 22nd December, and resume on Thursday 2nd January.

The following sessions will run over the Christmas period, at the College pool:  

Monday 23rd December, Friday 27th December & Monday 30th December:

9am-10am – Rookies, Junior C, Junior B, Junior A and Age Competitive 

10am-11:30am – Age Group Performance, Senior Competitive, Senior Performance and Masters 

Saturday 28th December:

7am-8am – Age Group Performance, Senior Competitive, Senior Performance and Masters 

8am-9am – Rookies, Junior C, Junior B, Junior A and Age Competitive 

Starts & Turns Clinic: 31st October

Attention Juniors A, B & C and Age Group Competitive Squads!

We will be holding a ‘Starts and Turns Clinic’ during the upcoming half term.

Date: Thursday 31st October
Time: 4.15pm to 5.15pm
Venue: Bishop’s Stortford College pool
Cost: £15, invoiced

The clinic will work on starts and turns in all strokes and help perfect your technique.

Summer Training Schedule

All details regarding our summer training programme are below:

The last weekend training will be Sunday 28th July. We will continue normal Monday-Friday training until Friday 2nd August with the only exception being Elites squad training on Friday moving to the College pool at 18:15-19:30. 

We will be continuing with a reduced schedule during the weeks beginning 5th August & 12th August. We will be running sessions only on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursdays, all at the College Pool. The sessions will be run as follows:

18:15-19:15 – Avenirs, Poussins, Benjamins

19:15-20:45 – Cadets, Juniors, Seniors, Minimes, Elites & Masters

There will be NO training from 17th August to Sunday 1st September.

Training cancellations 27 May

Due to bank holiday restricted hours the following training sessions at Grange Paddocks are cancelled:

  • Monday 27th May 19:00 – 20:00 
  • Monday 27th May 20:00 – 21:00

We do apologise for any inconvenience caused however all other sessions this weekend are running as usual.

Training cancellations 11 & 12 May

We have an extremely busy weekend ahead with swimmers competing at Norwich, Crawley & Peanuts. This means as a coaching team we are being stretched across all these events, so there will be no training this weekend at the college. The following sessions are cancelled – 

Saturday 11th May 6:00-7:30

Saturday 11th May 7:30-8:30 

Sunday 12th May 18:15-19:15

Sunday 12th May 19:15-20:15 

We do apologise for any inconvenience caused, but we are stretched thin this weekend and we have exhausted every option to keep these sessions on.
