Following an absolutely fantastic performance at Weekend Two of Swim England Hertfordshire County Championships (where BSSC finished the weekend with 36 medals ), swimmers were back in action for the penultimate weekend of racing at Westminster Lodge in St Albans for a weekend of sprints, relays and 200m events over Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th January.
Weekend Three saw the Club collect 45 more medals – 23 gold, 8 silver and 14 bronze.
Youngest swimmers – new medallists
Our youngest swimmers continued to do the Club proud, with first-time County medallists adding to their collections.
Morgan Richards, 10, was the Club’s youngest gold medallist, taking his first County medal in the 50m Breaststroke in a time of 39.70 seconds.
Jeremy Cox, 12, built on his 100m Butterfly bronze from Weekend Two, adding a 50m Freestyle gold, 100m IM bronze and 200m Freestyle bronze to his growing collection. It was an absolutely fantastic first Hertfordshire County Championships for Jeremy, and we look forward to seeing what he does next in the season.
